Tab creating software

We may have been through this before, but I have to ask after chasing dead website links found while searching the archives of the Foro.

Looking for a simple, possibly free, tab writing program. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sibelius is full of great notation to tab functionality. And it won't insist on using the wrong accidental in the standard portion, so you can show the results to non 'tab only' guys without blushing.

It also has templates for banjo and lute and all sorts of stringed struff. And I think that it will convert a midi file to notation. From there you can clean it up, call the file a guitar or ukulele or whatever and it will have a go at the tab.

Don't know much about the finer details of using it as I am a lazy so and so.
