Todd, I watched a demo of Reaper on YouTube. Although it seems to be a full on, all singing all dancing software, it appears that the guy had Audacity plugged in to Reaper and used it for editing! You are the man in the know, please tell me what's going on here?! Its very common to bridge programs for various reasons. Thats really a taste issue. Some people have preferences as to the layout of the program, etc. They all do basically the same functions. Some have more features than others, and some make it easier to perform certain functions. It depends on what you want to do. Midi programming, wave editing, automation, etc.. You have to shop around and find what is right for you. Plenty of stuff out there for 50 bucks or less. Reaper is definately one of the most full featured programs, for any amount of money in my opinion. TK
