Chicuelo, Duquende and Poveda - Le s...

Does anyone know if this concert is available on DVD (and details as to where it can be purchased)?

This is a great concert, and I would love to get this on DVD.

Oh, I didn't actually re-watch the video. I've seen it some time back, and remember it was good, but didn't recall the flies buzzing around Chicuelo... Now I get why you posted your video though. Cheers!

This was part of a double concert with the Qwaali musicians. The concert was short and available for download years ago and was Granaina, Cantiñas, Solea, Fandango, and bulerias. The short interviews between you can hear the qwaali guys in the background.

later a Qwaali box set was released with 2 CDs and DVD and book, but of a more recent performance. Unfortunately there is not much flamenco and the "fusion" part is more featured. During the interview they show parts from the performance in question. I am afraid because of this Box set, the older performance will not ever be available.

I personally made DVD for myself of this concert that I downloaded, so I can watch on TV. But honestly you can do the same for yourself just by searching and downloading yourself. good luck. This kind of thing might be it, not sure:

Thank you for the information Ricardo...

I have a downloaded copy as well, but the quality wasn't super clear, especially when playing on a TV. It's always more enjoyable to watch on the big screen in high quality.

I guess I'll just continue to enjoy it on the computer.

It's a great concert, and after seeing Duquende in Montreal and Ottawa (with Paco), I've started to revisit this video.
