Rumba Strumming - different patterns

I know that there is a lot going on right now, and while I anxiously await the judges scoring for the beginners challenge, I thought I would start this thread. I had a friend and flamenco singer visit me for a week and we spent a lot of time playing rumbas, this since I wasnt able to accompany very well anything else! But it was a lot of fun and I must admit that I love playing Rumbas. Here are the only two patterns that I know (which are basically the same) 1 - Thumb down with golpe & - Thumb up 2 - x,a,m,i down & - Thumb up 3 - Tapado (palm over strings) & - x,a,m,i up 4 - x,a,m,i down & - i up 1 - Thumb down with golpe & - Thumb up 2 - x,a,m,i down & - Thumb up 3 - Dont play <-------------- & - x,a,m,i up 4 - x,a,m,i down & - i up I would really appreciate anyone adding to this list. It would be nice to have lots of options. Now, Im not lazy; I have done some searching, but I like the idea of this thread for other beginners and also to know whats more commonly used. Thanks, Vic
