Beat Up Devoe on eBay

I didn't see a reserve so it looks like this Devoe could go for $2,500 USD. Never would have guessed a broken string and some scratches could lower a guitars' value by $4,000.

Beat up flamenco guitars don't age like fine wine, instead they lose their vitality and show their age like an old hooker.

Considerin that there is no golpeador, there are just few marks under the 1st string. Maybe it wasnt used for flamenco?

devoe is devoe. that crap about clasical bracing... whatever that means lol.

looks like a nice guitar for a reasonable price.

Well its not unknown for makers to make classical guitars with cypress back and sides! It would seem odd to me to make a flamenco guitar and not put a scratch plate on it.

Seems a bit of a strange auction to me. knowing a guitars worth not needing the money and having a low price for a quick sale just doesnt add up to me.
