Making a backing track/Entre dos Agu... 
Hola foro - I'm working on Entre dos Aguas and it would be great to practice with accompaniment but not with Paco's solo on there too (like I have been just going with the MP3). Does anyone know of a way to take the lead guitar to any degree out of an MP3, or just have a good Entre dos Aguas backing track I could use? I'd make my own but, eh, not enough confidence in my compás yet - that's what I'm trying to work on

I wish I could help you but until you regain your confidence, or possibly record and have a friend operate the epuipment, as that helps in the overall process as the compas part is hard enough in piecing together tracks, especially without someone to direct the process. A conductor perhaps.

I'd say play the melody track(s) and then do the accompaniment and then take the melody off, as harmonoy without melodic form is difficult, without the problem of compas. Actually after that being said, it would be easier to play the score and copy with a friend.

Otherwise I don't think that you can strip tracks off of an Mp3 and if you can I would sure like to hear how.

I was actually considering doing that - it would be a good exercise, I'd be much more confident in the compás, and it would let me properly anticipate the chord changes (if I just went along to a compás track while I recorded the accompaniment, the rhythm would be alright but I'd probably add or miss a measure! ). I was just wondering if there's anything else out there. As for stripping leading tracks, I remember when I was younger I had a Winamp plugin that did a damn good job of stripping (most of) the vocals from rock songs. I wonder if similar things exist that would work with a Paco song!

Hi ramparts,
this guy plays entre dos Aguas and has the backing track. I got it from him in the past, but dont have it anymore. You can email him and ask if he could sent it to you.
