sometimes, I feel like i'm floating around in a sea of idiots who are so stupid that they don't even search "flamenco" on youtube before they post a video on it.
for example, the flamenco lessons on ( a certain relatively new, very terrible forum) are really stupid. intensely stupid. In fact I feel so bad that the site exists, that I post articles on how not to listen to what those yokels tell you.
Man, this could really screw people up. What if someone really wanted to learn flamenco.....
and who is this girl anyway? why is she representing a guitar website when she can hardly strum a guitar?

my thoughts EXACTLY. gives me such a headache. makes guitar playing in general look so bad, that i don't even want to touch mine.

so I omitted all my exclamation marks and the url I posted of some real flamenco lessons, and it now DOES appear to need approval from the original video poster. I wasn't rude, but I was honest...... I don't think she'll approve it.

I think they would rather enter a search string like "Paco de lucia"... i mean, people who think THIS is flamenco, obviously dont know it better (they had misconceptions BEFORE they watched the video), and people who do will take lessons somewhere else.

You crazy man! Well that reminds me of two young co-students, who just passed an oral examination :) last week only because they are girls. The task was to write a Visual Basic programme, and the teacher found out that they had no idea and just copied the code. They even said it!

Yes but only because they confused her as an actor of "Blonde and confused" the movie never got an oscar, although the performance of the actors was inhuman.

I could not view her breasts because they were hidden by her enormous Gibson flamingo guitar. I have already sent this video to every friend that I know. Comparing notes as I write.

I'm sure gald she slowed it down so I could grasp the chord change. Whew!!! I didn't realize how hard Flamingo guitar was when I started! Apparently it's all about A minor and E major. Now I know that if I play higher up on the neck, it gives a more interesting sound.

she could have used her flamiiiin ko strum on her tune "monday", but i think her piiiinky kept hiding. And today is tuesday.
Honestly, she is a good teacher for what she is showing, and seems to know her target audience well (not us). for the Record, I saw a Vid of Gypsykings in the recording studio, and one of the players , Pablo, recorded a track or rhythm guitar playing over the neck like she does for the "special golpes" and sound it makes.
