RE: Flamenco scene in Bristol (in reply to Taffy de Lucia)

Sorry if this seems a bit late in the day, but I haven't visited the forum in a while. I live in Bristol and don't think the flamenco scene's as vibrant as Jon seems to suggest. Maybe I don't know the right people or maybe my finger isn't on the pulse, but there only seems to be the occasional thing going on. What there is is usually pretty good tho'. However, if you want to hook up when you get to Bristol to trade knowledge/ideas let me know.

Try contacting a guitarist named Cuffy. Also, if you're back by the 5th of March, he's giving a guitar workshop in Stroud. (Intermediate) There's also a singing wokshop that day - and a beginners dance workshop with yours truly plus a flamenco performance in the evening. Let me know if you want contact details for this event. Karenanne

Hi, Wondering if you know of any flamenco teachers in the Plymouth area? Have a wedding in Jerez mid October and know that dancing is a must!
