Lewes Guitar festival
Hi guys/gals
Its now official Emilio Maya is playing the Lewes Guitar festival on the 7th August. Contact for festival can be found here http://www.lewesguitarfestival.co.uk/ to get your tickets.
Also expecting the first batch of his CD Temple to arrive tomorrow so anyone who wants to order a copy get in touch with me.
I believe Emilio and the group have also been invited to an after festival party so the date will be Aug 7th if we are talking about the same thing. No idea of venue, Fergus should know. Sorry I wont be there.
I was asked if could play at this 'party' but not sure I can. I think the venue will be in the Star Brewery, there is a little cellar there which makes a perfect Cueva Flamenca. I'll let you know more when I know more. Hope you can make it simon, I'm pretty sure there will be some guitar workshops as well. Fergus
Well I was asked if I could play witht the new band but the rest of them will all be away for that date so don't think we can do it. I will be leading the workshop along with Paul Aguillera on Friday 6th July which will be a whole day workshop including some cante accompaniment and maybe some palmas, I'm open to suggestions. Fergus
They're having a get together on the Sunday as well from what I hear. A sort of meet and greet and CD signing.
By the way Simon well done on your click counts on google ads, that's a hell of aloty more than I got in the whole time we had the ads on our site. One ad I just noticed on our site was for a professional engineer to mix your tracks, sounds like direct competition to me
Still wishing I could come to Lewes. Are you going get there Simon ? They are great guys who run the festival. Also talking with them about distribution for Emilio in UK.
