RE: Flamenco guitar dealers in London? (in reply to Jon Boyes)
Hi Jon,
Try El Mundo Flamenco - they have a website for their address. BTW I have now sold my Burguet. Comparing the Burguet to the Bernal, similar price range, I would say that the Bernal is more hard, traditional flamenco, whereas the Burguet is more modern, leaning towards a classical tone but still very flamenco. El Mundo Flamenco sell Burguets and Andy's Guitar Store in Denmark Street have Bernals. My friend phoned them about the Bernal. They quoted him 1400 pounds. Gordon laughed and said that they were available elsewhere at half that price - so the saleseman said, 'OK. I'll sell it for 700'! Never pay the marked price...

There's also Spanish Guitar Centre in Cranbourn Street beside Leister Sq underground. Run by Barry Mason. He's not really interested in Flamenco guitars at least that's my experience of him, but you might see something. Ivor Mairants, somewhere off Oxford Street, again more classical but you never know.

Jon, Like Jim says it might be worth giving Ivor Mairants a shot.. (don't have the address, but it's central London). The last time I phoned, about a year ago now, they had four guitars ranging from a £1000 Cordoba to a Manuel Reyes at £4,500. They're a pretty "straight laced" outfit though, so I can't see a lot of room for negotiation. Good Luck on your ventures though!

Hey, did you know this! Amalio Burguet is making a "Special Edition" guitar in honour of Rafael, who has played his guitar(s) all his professional life. I bet it will be signed as well! LOL!

Thanks for these, chaps, will report back in a few weeks after my visit.
Rob - Yes, I've tried a Burguet 2F - my favourite flamenco so far. I will certainly try to get to Denmark street, I would like to try out some Bernals.
