Hey Estevan, yet another flamenco guitarist from Granada !! They are all genetically modified in the caves of the Sacromonte. Miguel Angel Cortés plays with everyone from Estrella to Arcangel as well as in 'Tres guitarras de Granada". We tried to get him for the recordig project with El Ni~õ dellas Almendras but he's just to damn busy

Excuse me for highjacking the thread, but I keep reading about the sad state of Flamenco in Espana today but keep seeing incredible vids like these!?!?

A few years ago there was a video posted of Poveda/Chicuelo in Washington...(Kennedy Center I think) which was way better than this from a guitarist's point of view anyway. The video/sound wasn't great, but Chicuelo was flying...
I think Ricardo knows the one I mean...It was round about the time he posted a vid of himself with a Washington dance company at the same venue. (Siguirillas)

Yeah he gets around. We saw him last year with Esperanza, great stuff. There's a clause in his contract where you have to pay extra if you want him to smile, and not more than once per concert. He's probably a bit too modern for El Niño. What happened to his brother, I thought he was a possibility?

Geez Ron, you're hard to please!
I know we're only supposed to care about the guitar part, but Poveda blows me away, man. At least in the concert we saw. (Chicuelo was excellent, too, by the way...)

Good pick, thank you, but couldn't hear the guitar well enough to form an opinion.
[PS.: picked a flag as avatar, since there wasn't one available for NEW YORK city I suppose this is quite representative of both New Yorkers and Lawyers]
