Since y'all abandoned us on FT, we are feeling lonely.
Just wanted to let you know that I just added a Buleria falseta to the lesson section. It's by Parilla de Jerez and it's demonstrated by Ricardo. It's available for free.

Olé Olé and olé 5 stars you get for this one
Thumbs up for choice of falseta, playing, videoing and for telling us.
Is it from Jondura or from playing with Cante. very typical Parilla anyway.
How is Parilla these days?
We didn´t leave F-T. We just went home after a couple of weeks of vacations over there on F-T. Nothing better than visiting friends. Thanks for having us.

Wow Ramin, just watched the U-tube version - thanks a lot for this lesson; am I correct if I understand there is a slower version to be seen at guitar-teacher dot com? I'm certain it's going to keep me busy for quite a while, but I would love to be able to play it, someday!

Yeah, he already completed a bunch of the transcriptions and I just have to finish the videos and post them.
I'll probably add one or two a week. It really takes a long time to complete the finished job. The Parilla falseta took me 5 straight hours just for the video. If you guys notice, I don't use the audio from the camera. It's all in ProTools and that requires good amount of work.
Ricardo keeps telling me that I shouldn't do that. He thinks the camera audio is good enough. He is right in the sense that it sounds clear. But I like the higher quality audio.

I agree Arash, That is a "proper" Bulerias falseta! (Not all this "moody" crap! )
Great playing Ricardo.
cheers,
Ron
It is a bit old school! For Anders, I mixed up a couple things that we learned from Gerardo, and what I knew myself from Parrilla playing for Paquera on youtube somewhere out there. It is fun to mix falsetas up your own way, but in the end it is clearly jerez style ala parrilla.
Edit: oh for you conde nerds, that guitar is the "real" esteso from 1973, for whatever it is worth. And to Ramin, yeah you are right that the better quality audio is nicer. Ricardo
