In no way trying to start a fire or storm. I've been absent from the Foro for a few weeks, just on being able to check in maybe 3 times. I received some emails from the Foro concerning an old school forum and the new forum staying up also-then the new foro was down-now I can't find it, but I seem to have found what looks like the old foro that was around a couple months ago when I started.
I have no desire to know what all went on, I simply want to make sure I know what is what. I found an old school Flamenco site and saw a few names I have saw before on that site-my login would not work-so I guess I need to register for that. It was my understanding from the email I recieved a few weeks ago that my password would work on both.
My login worked on this site today, so this is now the "new" foro-although it looks like the old one of a few months ago-am I correct?
Now the NewFlamenco Foro that was redone maybe 2 months ago is not around any more???
Please set me straight thanks-glad to be back, glad you are still here Daryl Crisp

You are on the original foroflamenco.com which is back under the original management because the new host lost the plot. Just pretend it never happened.

Hi Daryl--it's good you found us.
In a nutshell: Bob set up a new Old School Foro without telling everyone. Many original FF members complained on threads at Bob's new FF so he shut down the FF he created. He put it back up a few days later then closed it permanently after more threads that were critical of him.
Many FF members spent the week chatting at Flamenco-Teacher.com while Simon set up the original FF using the old software, but on a better server in the UK. So now all of the "impolite" original FF people are back here again.
Be sure not to post questions about the conflict on Bob's new "Old School" site, you will be banned.

Okay, wow, I did miss a bunch of stuff. One day, a few weeks ago, I did try to follow a post that had a lot of replies but had to go back to work, a few days later I couldn't find the site-then I got the email-then today I couldn't find the site again, and I thought "oh no, I need that place so much".
glad I missed all that.
Thank you both for the info and clearing it all up, I like this place, I like how it looks. Simon, thanks for having this carry on.
