Florian's Una Noche De Flamenco in A...

Hi :-) very nice to see the foro alive and kicking

I got a litlle promotion to make

Val ( your sister maybe ? and anyone else from Australia that wants to come down for it (Adelaide) is welcome ofcourse, the show is pretty big, 2 singers, 3 guitarists, 9 of the top dancers from 2 different Dance companies, 1 cajon, 1 drums and precussion.. i am bringing artists I like in from different cities to be in it..and at the end of it all gonna have an all night after party flamenco fiesta at some club in Rundle street and any flamenco is invited to that too, Larone tells me he might be coming down and hes gonna impraignate all the ladys of Adelaide .

Started selling tickets online at Myspace yesterday and its very nice to see people are buying allready Una Noche De Flamenco

And I am pretty content cause i am in better then ever shape for it as i have been able to quit my job and practice 12 hours a day again like i once upon a time use to.

Looks just great Flo. I wish it wasn't 11,000 miles away or I'd be there! I'll be thinking of you tho - make sure you let us know how it goes.

yeah mate we do go back a long long time, nice to see you again buddy,

thank you man thats very nice of you, i wish i felled like that.. but to be honest i dont care if i deserve it or not anymore, i could wait a lifetime waiting to feel like i deserve it and even then i probably wouldnt never feel like i do, now i am just gonna take what i can get ..

all of it beats working in a factory without even owning a guitar to play and having to beg your mates to borrow one of theirs every time theres a gig .

and always got to think of a new different way of bringing it up when asking ..its very tiering

you got a problem with my poster ?? I kick your ass boy !! jk

the poster is perfect in real life but once i converted it and made it smaller for internet loses alot of pixels, colours look uneven and unclear.. the writting looks uneven etc..

but its A2 and dosent look like this on a wall, everything looks just fine..

Great news Florian!
I'm really happy for you man.
I'm glad you've been able to quit that job.
I like the Italian gig...I hope it works out.
I think putting a company together gives you a better chance of booking foreign gigs, festivals etc.

Remember to "Espeek laik thees" though!

cheers,

Ron

thanks mate

Ofcourse, i wouldnt go to any concert with just guitar for 2 hours id go mad..except Paco, Vicente or friends etc.. but even then i would be hoping for cante or dance or something to brake it up.

I am not really a guitar fan, i am a flamenco fan, if my fingers broke tomarow and couldnt play anymore id be just as happy and have just as much fun doing palmas (well sorda ) or jaleos in shows.

I enjoy doing palmas for other people as much as i enjoy playing as long as i still get to be around it.

I acctualy have an accent anyway
place a 'H" in the midlle and a "s" at the end and voila spanish as can be

Congratulations Flo! If I was anywhere near the venue you can be sure I'd attend. Too bad I'm thousands of miles away.

I saw a similar poster on your Myspace page weeks ago. Is this the same gig?

Could it be because someone, possibly you, posted this information on the World Wide Web?

it pi*ses me off that you knew but didnt make a post about it...it was clear to me i had to come and do it myself ..but i hate that cause i dont get to act surrprised humble and modest about it all

but il save that act for someone else ..thats why i dont like hanging out with people who know me anymore

in all fairness i did tell everyone in pm and told em to not tell anyone

where did you all go ? I am not yet done talking about myself ...

unincouraging bustards

BTW. Florange is still here and she´s getting more and more punchy and sweet at the same time.

Pretty funny, I just asked him about this. You should pick it up Flo. I'm sure you won't make any mistakes while playing but if you did, you could say it is because you were not used to your new guitar yet.

Hey Flo
Many congratulations. I wondered what had happened to you...and its great to hear you are working hard. Its a brave move to leave the day job and turn professional....but dont forget us. I miss your input! Can't make this particular gig but if you come over to Europe, you know we will all turn up.
