I simply cannot get over how gorgeous the sounds were that came out of that. Singing highs to bowel-shaking lows and everything in between, not too many instruments can pull that off the way that thing can.

Yeah I feel quite faint at the thought! I have enough trouble just sorting out the G string...

Interesting find HMan. Both he and the instrument are one of a kind.

Reminded me that I really like sitar, so was just having a browse through youtube and found this quickie:

I hear the haunting moorish influence in flamenco coming out of this instrument. Can you imagine this instrument and a guitar as a duo playing a Soleares? Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up just thinking about it.
