We may be running out of disk space. The recent connection problems may also be a factor. My ISP (which is the only one I can use is not helping). I'll check it out.
I haven't spoken to Simon about this....just some of my own thoughts.
Foroflamenco.com (or ThisPageIsUnavailable.com ) has to be run on a budget since Simon is funding it out of his own pocket plus a few Google Ads as well as coping with the current technical problems.
If everybody wanted a super-dooper service, then I'm sure if everbody had to contribute a one-off $5 payment via PayPal for a 5 year membership, we could go with one of the slick, high bandwith, high data storage Web Hosting Services for at least the next 5 years. You'd be lucky to get a decent sandwich in London for $5.
Jejejeje.........No ****! I'd pay a fiver to say **** and **** or even ****ing ****! I remember trying to post something about a London football team called the Gunners but Foroflamenco only let me say "****nal" which was a bit annoying. Can you modify the list?
Actually $5 is only 2 pounds 50. In London you could only buy the sandwich wrapper for that! Seriously Ron, If paying a few quid meant not having the foro off line every other day and quicker uploads/downloads etc. I would definately pay. I dont think it should be compulsory but there should be benefits to subscribers like (for example) access to the tabs sections or maybe to a members library which would be a seperate transcription section and access to rare or historical recordings, and super member status. This would encourage people to become paying members without stopping them being involved with free discussions and debate. Anyway...just an idea!!

Also, some areas of this forum do not allow uploads. Please check where you were trying to upload and whether you are actually logged in (i.e. not as Guest) on the home page.
As for connectivity, I hope the new router is making a difference. It seems ok, so far.
