Bear with me - death in the family
Sadly, my old Dad passed away last week so I am going to be busy travelling and arranging things back home. Please bear with me if you have forum support issues.
Flamenco is a great help at times like these and my Dad really loved seeing Capullo in Jerez a couple of years ago.

Ah Simon, I am so sorry to hear that, he was a lovely man.
Thanks, I forgot that you met him down here that day we went for a walk with Anders in the orange orchards.
Dad was a cantankerous old sod in the end, but he taught me photography, inspired me to travel, read, learn and always question the status quo.
Oh, yeah - in 1969 he brought a friend's electric guitar home and let me to play around without amp. Encouraged by his reaction, I got a saturday job and bought my own guitar (a Watkins Rapier). The amp (an AC30) came the next year and I still have the callouses
He got the disco lights and transported the band for our first gig. Bless him.

As a parent, one of our jobs is to raise our children the best we can and let them go on their own to apply what we've taught them. If we've done our job right as parents, our children turn out to be fine young men and women.
It's obvious your Father did his job well. He will continue to live through you!

I´m very sorry Simon. I hope he left us without to much pain and difficulty. I can understand that this has happened quite fast, I mean we spoke on the telephone some few days ago.

Dont forget that he always had this dry charming sense of humour that I really liked. He was a good man and he has given you a lot which I know that you appreciate.
Keep up the good spirit Simon and say farewell to your dad the way you need to do it. The forum is just a forum.
