"Stephen Hill" Doco
So steven, I finally watched your doc, that I've had saved on my sky box for weeks after you first recommended it after my post about disappointment with "Cry of the Guitar"
I must say, firstly, your doco was infinately better. No need for flashy editing techniques, no silly bits of comedy etc.. It was direct and to the point and full of information. I thought you conveyed your feelings about the whole process and ritual of guitar making, very well. Thankyou. I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my friend who happened to be in the room when I put it on.
.....So, I'm also thoroughly inspired...are you still running your month intensive workshops??
I am right in the middle of a course now, have another in feb 2008 full and again in may (full) and sept, have one place. going well! heres the buleria of ricardo de la juana also http://okso.blip.tv/file/525618 and the granaina http://okso.blip.tv/file/525650
I really enjoyed your video - it's very intriguing to follow the process and watch close-ups of how you work, and much more lively than reading a textbook. I'm looking forward to your next installment! Muchas gracias!
