Simon you can take the workshp down

Tomatito's agent informed me that Tomatito wouldn't be interested in coming to the US just to teach a workshop. Even for $15,000. Hard seeing him turn down money just like that if someone asked him, but oh well.... Not much of a commission on just 15K or whatever:)

If we get Emilio Maya over to the States sometime he'll do it much cheaper

Let me know when you are planning your trip and I'll throw something together. We don't have lots of people here, but we could get some.

God knows if it will come off but we are talking about maybe next year. And yes I'll let you know and everyone else here to see if anyone can come up with something in their home towns, workshops or gigs. Last year I got the festival in Chicago confirmed and then all the other gigs fell into place. I just need one to start the ball rolling and we are talking with lots of people so it could happen.

What about the UK, Kate?

Could the Foro organise a workshop? Is Emilio going to be over here with your group if you tour?

Yes basically it's Emilio Maya who I am now promoting, with his group Grupo Maya, as well as Ana Calí the dancer and her own show Hechizo de Agua, as well as Marina Heredia and her father Jaime Heredia and of course Andrés and his sister Carmen.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the UK promoters who I sent the promo packs and as yet I have no idea which the promoters are going to be interested in.

When you do, let us know and we'll see if we can set up a workshop, maybe?

This is the catch 22. Everyone says when you come we'll book you. Sadly if they dont book us we wont be coming. Which is why we wait till one jumps and then the others all follow.
