That's nice, "Barbie-tongue"!
Thanks, I want to learn more about this. It would be helpful if I had the recording of the original. Is it from a bootleg? Where do I find it? Can you send it to me? And what about that other thing we were talking about before?? haha cheers, man

Yes, please send me everything you've got, all the audios and tabs (Yes, I will have Ben at ModernToque post them for us). I can't wait to hear Daniel's playing. Don't worry, my friend, I really appreciate you telling us about this stuff. Thank you!
Oh, I was trying to make fun by giving you a silly English nickname... I see a name written on the transcription "Bearbeitung" so I thought = "Barbie-Tongue"? No?? Haha, not so good I guess... But, do you know what a Barbie doll is? I guess I just thought Bearbeitung was interesting since I've never heard it. Coincidentally, people used to call me "Connie-Chung" after an old news lady in the United States. Nevermind if you don't understand. I'm crazy today!
And remember, if you still have that Mendez video available, you can send it to me sometime, but no trouble for me.

doitsujin,
just by the way you wrote this i can tell that the movie hit a spot, as the music did. It's great when movie and music mix together, the image and feeling get's very emotional that way. and also with such a subject, it's too difficult to go in discussion about that but I think we understand eachother.
and i'm interested in the rest you transcribed so when you have the time, or I will probably see them if they turn up on modern toque,

Hey, it's cool, man... I was just being foolish, just trying to understand things... It's spooky... last night before you told the story, I was thinking about the name and it's implications or possible meanings, and that's when I changed my post and changed my attitude as it began to resonate with me. And then how happy was I to wake up today and the story you tell fits very closely what I had imagined it had meant!! How nice is that?! That's a testament to its power as a piece.
Besides, you know I would have ended up loving it eventually just as I do most music. I was just thinking out loud the first time after hearing it, trying to say something instead of just thanking you profusely because as you said earlier... not often do people respond to tabs and your work like that, and I certainly know how that feels, right?!! So I wanted to say something critically, my first impressions only, which are almost always not reliable... hehehe
Anyway, how could I know that this piece had much deeper significance, especially to you. I think you got a little unfair with me but I understand entirely and I never got upset about it. I almost never get angry as you'd see if you knew me! Anyway, I hope you forgive me. Before, I was approaching only from an analytical stance with no frame of reference or concept yet in my mind and I definitely was not bashing the music, just making innocent, albeit unnecessary or naive musical observations as my thoughts were evolving. And boom! Foot in my mouth... I'm sure you understand.
peace
p.s. If you don't see ModernToque running in the next few days, it's because Ben is switching it to a new free webspace provider. I'm not involved at all with it any more, but I can still get him to post whatever I want. hehe
