I wonder. I am subscribed to every post that's made. I am afraid to miss something. So I get a notification of every foro-post in my mailbox. Do you have that too ?

These are like things that should be done, but can sit a while (my wife of course sees things a bit differently). I'm checking messages on work time, I'm a really bad boy...

its funny they were on tv here on current affair or 60 minutes or something and i was so looking foward to finally seeing them after keeping in touch trough emails but i gues they were camera shy and worried about the current nigerian governement because they keped running the other way.... still it was good to see they are real and not one of those internet scams.

While this foro is a wonderful resource for improving our art, it is also perhaps our worst enemy in that cause!?!
"Hmm.... I think I'll have a practice.... can't quite nail this piece of tremolo,...... perhaps I'll check the foro for a thread that may be able to help............30 mins later.....**** I was meant to be practicing, I have read some great posts though"
What's all this about the Nigerian Royal family fellas??? You're taking a jibe at all those scamming ****s right??
Stu
EDIT: hmm interesting.... That last swear in my post was meant to be motherfeckers... anti swear only only gave me four of these***** Thats a completely different insult

by the foro just to read Florian, Koella and Dominic's crazy posts
sorry sometimes i just get carried away with something stupid and before i know it i am making my apology post for taking a joke too far on a thread
I am still learning the " Get out on a high note " trick, right now I always leave a joke a litlle too late , a few minutes after everyone else has allready moved on, like when they say " Ok comon....thats enough" (in a condosending way ) Domenic and Koella share the same desease.

Yeah I've had some first hand experience. Infact I advertised guitar tuition on the net a month or so ago and got some dude saying he lived in spain and he wanted me to teach his son in london. But he wanted to pay me £5000, but only £1000 was for the lessons. the rest he wanted me to send to an account for his son to pay his accomodation whilst in london!!!!! just ignored it after that, then strangely right after I posted on this thread yesteday I looked at my email and there was another mail from this guy saying he'd had a terrible accident and only just started walking again, but know he was ready to do the previous deal. What a joker!!!

I've been busy with my music, and haven't been here for a while, and I still have got a lot to do. Does any one get that way, 'just drop off like you're gone for good? I guess if we were lucky we would all be that way. And I thought it would be easy to skip another week! Gary

Lots of people fall for this stuff. Its called a Nigerian scam because thats where a lot of them started. Lottery commissions claiming you have won money and you just need to send money to a courier service for safe delivery of your cheque etc. Various rich familys with dead husbands, corporate heads, bank accounts, trust funds and suitably implausable stories saying they need your help to transfer money out of their country, but they need help with legal costs etc. You just need to get one or two people a month to beleive you and it starts making money. I got this one the other day. You would think a member of the british aristocracy spoke English!
Here writes Lady Toreth Hughes, suffering from cancerous ailment. I am married to Sir Richard Hughes an Englishman who is dead. My husband and I made a vow to uplift the down-trodden and the less-privileged individuals as he had passion for persons who can not help themselves due to physical disability or financial predicament. I can adduce this to the fact that he needed a Child from this relationship, which never came.
When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of 20 Million (20 Million Great Britain Pounds Sterling which were derived from his vast estates and investment in capital market) with his bank here in UK. resently, this money is still with the Bank.
I have decided to donate this fund to you and want you to use this gift which comes from my husbands effort to fund the upkeep of widows, widowers, orphans, destitute, the down-trodden, physically challenged children, who prove to be genuinely handicapped financially.
I took this decision because I do not have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are bourgeois and very wealthy persons and I do not want my husband's hard earned money to be misused or invested into ill perceived ventures. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. My happiness is that I lived a life worthy of emulation.
