monstermarketplace

Hi peeps, (as Ramzi says )

Anyone got this problem of being redirected from clicking a Google search to either "monstermarketplace" or "nepster".
Obviously it's some kind of computer code that has been put on my PC without my knowing.
I've had had a look at the "geek" sites on the Net to try to eradicate the problem, but alas, it still persists.

This kind of crap really gets me down, I mean, is it really legal for a company (and not a fly-by-night porn outfit, but an actual bona-fide marketing company) to hijack and redirect your Google search to their own site by planting code on your PC?
Something needs to be done about these "get rich quick" Internet whizz kids, who think they are being smart and cool from making a business out of those sort of tactics.
It's practically akin to making a business out of mugging IMO.

As I've said in the past, nobody actually wants to work anymore...just get rich quick.

cheers,

Ron

I hate to be a nagger Ron, but I don't agree.

I've had quite some workers passing my door the last few months. Carpenters, plasterers, electricians etc. Learned a lot from there attitude. I have a lot of respect for these guys. RESPECT !

Btw. I think those people are a dyeing race and within ten years they can charge whatever they want cause nobody wants to do that kind of work anymore. And well...they deserve it.

Hey Ron,

I thought you were a computerfreak, since you made the flamenco master.

This guy seems to have the same problem:

And there's also the solution for it.

Don't you have spybot or anything similar?

Thanks GuxDiBux,
But that's one of the ones I tried, but it's still there.
The biggest laugh is, when I search "how to get rid of Nepster and monstermarketplace" on Google, I get redirected to monstermarketplace with a list of sites telling me how to get rid of Nepster and monstermarketplace, which of course will make them money if I click on the links.

I think in the 20's they called it the "Protection" racket in New York and Chicago.
So things haven't really changed in that respect...
Only more hi-tech.

cheers,

Ron

Koella,
I know what you mean....but still...
I saw a great comedy thing on TV a while back, where there was an old tramp sitting on the steps of an inner-city public building, with a sign saying "please help".
This lady passing by opened her purse and offered to give him a pound coin.
"Sorry, Lady", he said "Don't take cash anymore. I can swipe your Credit Card or give you a form to fill out for Direct Debit, or if you prefer, you can donate on-line at www.drunkstreetdosser.co.uk"

cheers

Ron

That's funny Ron. But trust me, evrything will be reduced to real life in a few years. The next generation will be insensitive for this kind of digital-highway-crap.

I completely agree with you Ron. As soon as I can find a way to get rich, I'm done with work.

Hi Ron,
Have you got the usual Microsoft stuff? Windows Defender and/or Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool? You can download direct from the Windows site. I haven't had the same problem as you but those little apps have gotten rid of some malware on my PC before... in conjunction with Norton Anti-virus... starting to wonder if I'd be better with a Mac!
