Waaa... Guys, I have to share this with you. TOMORROW! My first live contact with a person who shares the same passion to flamenco as me. My first flamenco concert. My dreams coming true. [ok ok]
So...I'm going to a concert of ... a chick in a swimming pool ... VICENTE AMIGO!
Huuuu
I guess its not so bad for my first live flamenco interaction.
[...shiver...]
I hope I wont be able to tell you how it was for the next couple of months.
Salu! Matic

MAN!!Fantastic! I expected an amazing concert, but what happened...it was so... AMAZING x 17! This is the hall:
It was full, sold out a couple of weeks ago what I didn't expect in the non-flamenco country. The audience was fantastic. I haven't seen such a contact and enormous energy between the musicians and audience.
So, for me, this was one of the most beautiful things I have experienced in my life. At the very begining, when the lights turned down, there was a blue light on Vicente's chair, and my heart started to boom painfully..:) There was a half minute silence until He stepped on the stage, sat on his enlightened chair and started playing. Taranta/Solea solo intro (same as on Cordoba-concert video, solea with latest falsetas). When I heard the sound of his guitar, when I really felt his presence in front of me, I entered into the most beautiful state of mind ever. It's unexplainable how my head was full of emotions, kind of a rush of all memories, experiences with flamenco (mostly from my room:) ... I laughed, shivered and, eventually - cried I cried of joy like a little child. Maybe it sounds silly and stuff but I would never want to change this feeling for anything else. Those first minutes of a concert. There was a magical energy on stage, they all enjoyed the concert, one could see this on their faces. José Manuel Hierro, II. guitar Patricio Cámara, percussion Paquito González, percussion Blas Córdoba, cante Antonio José Ramos, bass
Here is his list of songs they played:
He came back on stage for 2 times, he played a buleria and a zapateado. A great finish indeed. This concert was the most sensible moment of my life, I enjoyed it very much and if I had missed it, I probably would never have known what state of mind and body one can be in.
The first time is always the best. I hope there are many of them ahead.
Oh...I had no time to wait for Vicente for some hand shaking and gracias saying, but I had time to go on stage and sit on his chair. I still feel an energy that entered inside me in that moment. Heres the pic jajaja :
Anyone else ever experienced any such great thing?

I am really pleased for you and am glad that you decided to share your feelings here. Being much nearer to Spain I can see flamenco more easily but I still love the way that hearing really good flamenco can seem to transport you to a totally different place. Thanks again for the review. Karenanne
Matic,.. please buy some cool new shoes and throw these ones in the dustbin. I just watched "germanys next topmodel" and they chancelled one of the more beautiful ones. So... with these shoes you are NOT in the next round. Sorry. hehehe
I dont know.. I is saw one show.. I think Heidi Klum is my favourite.
There ya go, agreed...
Am i the only one, or did you also notice that she speaks like a robot? Her eyes never closed, with no mimic. Model business seems tough. Die Frau ist völlig fertig!
