Hi David are you talking about his London concert? I am considering it as I enjoyed his last concert so much and this is a different show. Are you going? I'm not even sure if there are still tickets. Have you seen him before? Romanza

Last time I saw Nunez in London it was a mainly solo guitar type stuff with Carmen Cortez dancing... there was NO CANTE. I'm not sure if its the same this time, because its rumoured that there will be a cantaor this time... can anyone confirm that? anyway he played the best songs from Andando El Tiempo, a few others and a bit of traditional style stuff so that Carmen could dance.
The workshop was good too, but Gerardo doesn't speak much English, and even the beginners class was above my level in places. Worth going to though, if only to see the guy up close. but make sure you arrive early to get a good seat near the front.

You might wanna record the wokshop session somehow too, or take notes so that you can refer back to it at a later date... btw you will NOT usually be given anything on paper, so if you're memory is bad, or you wanna refer back to something Gerardo did/said, its best to have it recorded.... I've FORGOTTEN much of he did/said because I had no means of recording it. a video-camera would be good, but I doubt they'd let you film the session without permission.
