Rio de Miel

Does anyone know the guitar used by Paco in this CD? It sounds really great and different than his other CDs?

Just a guess, he had his old Conde negra refinished which changed the sound a bit. I felt like the guitar used on this piece and the guitar used on the other bulerias "el Chorruelo" were different guitars. Just a guess. Could be mic placement, but the Rio sounds rich and full body, the "chorruelo" sounds more midrangy and dry.

I dont know it. But the guitar sounds like the one he has on the Movie "Flamenco" by Saura. He plays the Tangos from LuZia there, Pepe is singing. It looks like the negra.
I dont know. Its kind of speculative. He maybe used different strings, there was alot buzzing on the bass strings in the whole album i felt.

like Ricardo said for the first Bulerias "...Miel" I thought the sound was more full, kind of like his Devoe.... even the Solea and the Alegrias... The sound was more lyrical than his Conde so it could have been his Devoe. At that time I know Devoe even said it that Paco recorded an Alegrias with his Devoe Blanca. But the second bulerias "chorruelo", I thought it was like his Conde. Even the Rondena is his Conde IMO.
