Manuel Rodriguez Model FF Opinions

Hi All,

I am considering the purchase of a Manuel Rodriguez Model FF, which is an all-solid cypress/spruce guitar that retails at around $1200. I was going to buy it sight unseen, but heard from someone that the neck is a bit chunky. Any ideas from folks out there as to how much better this would be than the $350 Yamaha or something else I could pick up cheap? Has anyone played this before?

I have a Contreras (student model from the 70s) that needs a neck reset, and was thinking of getting something that I wouldn't mind having mauled by my children.

Thanks,
Peter

Also, if anyone has experience with Manuel Rodriguez factory guitars from the mid-90s (other than the FF), that would be helpful as well.

Cheers,
Peter

Maybe it's the new signature guitar of the forum? Everyone needs one!
