Tap plate glue

What adhesive should I use to stick on a golpeadore - what do they use on the ready glued ones? I've cut my own (in black) so need to find the right stuff.

There is this foil they use to make photos adhesive.
It's like sticker paper that sticks on both sides. Just put it smoothly on your tapplate. pull of the protection paper from the other side, and voila ! you have an adhesive tapplate.

Btw. sorry for the bad ( english) explanation.

excellent - any idea what it's called? Would I get it in an art shop or hardware shop?

LOL in Holland it's called "tweezijdig plakfolie".
But that doesn't help does it ?
Maybe I can translate. "Tweezijdig" means "two sides"
"plak folie" is "adhesive foil".
Last time I bought it was to make copperfoil adhesive. I put it on the inside of my stratocaster to stop the humming of the pickups.

I bought it in a photoshop.

Before searching for obscure products, always check the obvious places for a suitable one.

(unless you can find a much cheaper/better alternative)
