thank you for the ras-I am willing to try anything, but I do have a question, my assumption is that the "q" is the thumb? the first exercise then is straightforward thumb, ami, i, repeat, the second however asks a seperate question. If you are going for a continous sound, the idea of q amii, qami,iami, and then leading with qlmii, qamiiamii is setting up a different rythm and is there a purpose for that rythym? I understand the exercise value, it is the rythmn that concerns me? thanks adn happy NY>
