Maybe the music is good, but I think the history he describes may be totally false. For one thing, he seems to claim that the gitano language (calo) is derived from Mesapotamian Aramaic. That's the language that Jesus read/wrote in. But I'm almost certain it is actually derived from the ancient Sanskrit language from India. Aramaic was more from the Iraq region and west of there than from the region of India. Also if you look at the ancient art works, the Assyrians were famous for their enormous beards for which they were very proud. All Assyrian men seem to have had them. That tradition doesn't seem to be prevalent in any of the gypsy tribes. Additionally, there are documented court records of a Persian king advertising a call for court musicians from Indian and a surplus of over 2000 of them showed up for the job and moved west instead of returning home.
