News from Granada
Hi guys, Have been gone along time and thought I'd catch up and put my settings back to recieving mail as it comes so I can keep up with you all.
We got back from America and things got a bit crazy, what with the Flamenco Feria in Sevilla and the studio opening. Yes I'll just repeat that. The studio is UP and RUNNING ! This morning it was a delight to see Emilio, El Charico, El Moreno, Juan and El Cheyenne at such an unearthly hour but even better at the end of the day listening to what they are doing. Should be ready by Christmas.
Emilio has asked me to manage him, which is an honour and a lot of work, he's keeping me busy :) Right now I'm organizing some gigs in Huelva. In January he's off to Japan with Enrique El Melchor, wish I'd got that one together :(
They are now being asked to support Ojos de Brujo in Spain amongst other gigs. I'll post more when its confirmed but I dont suppose Ojos de Brujo appeal to many members here. They are also playing Sevilla University on Friday 28th November.
Look forward to catching up a bit. Hope everyone is well. It looks like thsi forum has really come into its own. Looking good Simon. Well done.
Hi Scott It'll be great to see you here in Granada. Let me know your dates and plans.
The photographer from Bloomington said it was frustrating taking photos with all the stage lights but he did ok. I love the one of Carmen.
Regards to your teacher, I cant remember his name of the top off my head but we had a great pizza party with him in Dekalb. I think he thought we were all crazy, and he'd have been right. It was a great night. Is he one of your group of six? saludos Kate
I like Ojos de Brujo too, they are a fun modern eclectic tongue in cheek fusion band. I just assumed that most people on a flamenco forum would not consider their fake flamenco that worthy.

I think all the photos were great - you are right, the one of Carmen is really good!
I will let you know more about our trip as the date gets closer. We will probably not start planning firm dates until after the holidays. Jeesh, I guess I need to start working on my Spanish!
I will give Eric your regards. He will not be one of the six going. It's a shame because I know he would love it!
