RE: Deniz: "aire" and &quo... (in reply to Doitsujin)
Doitsujin, I usually agree with all the stuff you say, but this stuff about Duende and Camaron/Tomatito/audience, I don't know man. It is like you want to say that they are not really having a "moment" or you are trying to make it sound like it was not so special. Well, what is the point of doing flamenco then? To just learn some coplas and ays to get paid to get an audience to give you a contrived and expected reaction? I am not saying it is mystical, sure there is aural and visual stimulation, and chemical reactions, memories, thoughts feelings, adrenaline, etc., but why? Tomatito only felt it because of the audience? That is really silly man.
Camaron is not my favorite, but when there is a special moment for the people feeling it, you can't take that from them just because YOU dont' feel anything. And sure there are people who yell just to yell and dont' really feel it. There are women who "fake" orgasm for the same reason, but there are some women who never have one. But for those who have them all the time, you can't tell them orgasms are not so special, just some adrenaline. Why would one woman say that to another, do you think?
Sorry to make it sound this way, but that is how it comes off reading what you wrote. Like you don't know what Duende is because you dont' ever feel it, and now you want to pretend nobody else feels it either. Sorry if I am way off here.
