'Humphrey' Design For A Flamenco? 
Has anyone done, thought about doing or think it is possible to create a flamenco guitar using the Thomas Humphrey style 'raised neck' (actually sloped body) design (forgetting any infringement issues for discussions sake)?

The first thing I thought was that the top sloping away from the strings from the bridge toward the neck might cause problems with the traditional narrow spacing and might mess up golopes. But I don't know ... thoughts?

(here is a pic if you don't knwo the design.)

You mean an elevated fingerboard? Andres D. Marvi is doing this. Not sure if he does this on his flamencos those. It may be a headache to do this on a flamenco because string height over the soundboard is critical.

His site says

"Raised neck on 12th fret (3 mm)."

under the flamenco description but that doesn't seem nearly as steep as the Humphrey. The same elevation on his classicals too, so I'd have to assume he hasn't choosen this specific height to compenstate for flamencos exclusively. Yes, the the string height over the top is a big issue. Also the tension down onto the saddle if you use a traditional low profile bridge. Interesting.
