RE: Where is Sorin Popovic??? (in reply to duende)
Funny you should mention that Henrik...I was thinking the same thing myself. I think (though I'm not sure) he was sitting his final exams at University the last time he was on here. When you come out of Uni with a piece of paper in your hand and a big wide world out there..then I guess you got to start to get serious about sorting out things...so maybe he doesn't have the time at the moment.
Hey Sorin! If you read this, then write back even just to say you are OK.
RE: Where is Sorin Popovic??? (in reply to duende)
I had a look and actually his last post was only 8 days ago on the "Off Topic" Forum. So he's OK! Just less long posts in the Members Forum. Guess that girlfriend is keeping him occupied...
cheers
Ron
PS: If it works out, then in another year he'll be posting long posts again to get away from her screaming at him for being a lazy fart and just playing that "stupid guitar" all the time.
Henrik & Miguel... You guys earn money via the guitar, I just do it as a hobby, therefore my wife sees it as the epitome of utter indolence, especially if I could be doing something "useful" like washing the car or mowing grass etc, like the neighbours do.
I have supported my dancer wife and family for years with my guitar. But she still makes me do chores and stuff. "Richard!....put that guitar down and go out and change those light bulbs/take out trash/clean garage/organize kid's toys/do the dishes/etc, etc,"....especially now she has started a new career in acting. The fact the guitar is my job does not excuse me from doing real work, although that is actually why I became a musician...because I am so lazy.
