ORIGINAL: Tomás Jiménez I am never very comfortable about advertising my courses on the forum as I imagine that it does not exist principally as an advertising board. I hope therefore that you will all not mind too much.
Definitely not! The events section is for stuff like this, Tomas. Its good to know of courses, performances etc happening in the UK, I just wish I was nearer and not so busy!
That's it Tomas, concentrate on the quality with fewer participants. If I can offer some advice to you, I'd say, increase your tuition fee. Might sound like bad advice , but as a person willing to go basically anywhere, and I mean anywhere, to get good tuition, I would pay more for personal time in a smaller group, rather than sit in a large gathering because the teacher knows that's what's required to meet the bills. As you say, stop it and don't let it get too big, but make sure it's worth your time and you're covering your costs. regards Jim.
Tomas......... I read your web site and recognised you straight away. We have someone in common!! Your guitar was once repaired by Richard in Norfolk, he is my guitar teacher and friend and has a picture of you and him inspecting the Gerundino that he worked on for you. He always says that you are a terrific flamenco guitarist and relates the tale of you demonstrating a piece that a duet would play , playing both parts yourself. He sends his regards to you. Gary
