Play to a compas track and you'll tighten that up. The compas is shaky. You are close though, so if you play that same stuff to a clear compas track, you'll hammer it into compas. Then, play it with just your foot tapping.

You can try various ways of tapping your foot:
12,2,4,6,8,10 (IMO the easiest)
12,3,6,8,10
12,3,7,8,10
12,3,6,9
1,2,4,5,7,8,10,11(possibly the most difficult)

Best to be able to do any of them while your playing. But some will work better than others at a given time depending on what you are playing, or what others(dancers) are doing. I don't think it's necessary to be able to play everything you play with any of the different foot patterns, but it would be nice. Also try to switch between them as you are playing.

with all due respect I don't think the compas is shaky. You could slow it at 0.5 and count it. It feels shaky likely because of the damp golpes. Their was a metronome in my headphones either ways

why not have the compas track / metronome available for us all to hear? makes it more enjoyable to listen to....(and we can all judge your compas too!) hehe.

It sounds to me too like the early compases are a bit shaky. mainly after your golpes on 8,10,12 and then you do what seems to be a pointless slide thing? then theres a huge space. maybe its just a trick of the ear....but that may well go away if you had your compas track audible so we could hear?

anyway, good job generally and on the continued uploads!

Mark2 has been at this for some time and is a pretty advanced and capable player. He's trying to help you because he respects the effort you've been putting in. Stu's suggestion is good, too. Reminds me of that Carol Kaye video where she says you have to be able to make the click track swing and then plays along with a click and indeed, she makes it swing. The listener's brain interprets the click as becoming more "lively' because her timing and accents are so dead on.

My friend Manuel, in Granada, is a fairly rough and tumble player who always manages to make it sound right, mainly because he was born into it, but also because he's never stopped practicing. He'll send me snippets of things he's working on and he uses some kind of compas machine/recording that I can't make any sense out of whatsoever. It sounds like it was designed sometime in 1862 and is a cacophony of clangs, claps, and things bashing together that could very well be a recording of a run-away steam engine derailing and falling down a hill. But, somehow, he makes it work. Ricardo often recommends practicing with straight metronome, so it seems you're on the right track.

Nice work. The tempo is fine, but once we get to the place we control the tempo well, it is time to work on the dynamics and such. The rasgueados need some work. You are not "flicking" into the strings, but they are snapping that way, which means you are attacking the strings from above. It is not "wrong" timing wise but you need to work on the sound so they are more brilliant. This is easy to blame on the guitar for some folks but it is a technique thing. Like your up stroke sounds to only catch on the high string. Try catching two or three strings with that up stroke every time. The abanico as well will benefit from a wrist down-up driven energy rather than a simple twist of the wrist. These details will brighten up the sound and give you bigger dynamic range.

I listened again today and I think you are super close. It's not that you went out of compas, you didn't. It's that some of the things you played are not exactly where they should be IMO. I'm talking fractions of a beat. I think the rythmic execution of the thumb passage could be clearer, and I think that is what made me feel a lack of accuracy. But you're right-if you count it, it ends up right.
