Actor and country legend Kris Kristofferson has passed away, at 88años.
Thanks for posting that, Morante. Kris Kristofferson was truly one of the greats. His song-writing and singing were unmatched. The story is told that when he started out, after being a helicopter pilot in the US Army in Vietnam, he flew a helicopter and landed in Johnny Cash's yard, hoping to impress Cash. Cash took a liking to him and helped him initially. Later Kris joined Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings to form "The Highwaymen." Great group of outlaws. He was an army officer, a helicopter pilot, an athlete, a poet, a singer/song-writer, a Rhodes Scholar, and an intellectual who loved the English poet William Blake. A real Renaissance man, DEP Kris.
