But the opportunities dont take your encouragement away! You just need less time, less effort to do something. And by the way, learning guitar is **** hard, STILL! Wouldnt it be very dumb, to not use all possible ressources of the time your living in? This goes for producing a DVD as well as travelling to spain, if you have the money for it. So, I dont take those "elder" people not really serious, when they say "it was all different in our time". Is is a moralistic way of judging these things, u know?! Instead, they should be happy, that people today (inclusively THEM!) have more opportunities. Besides, its the result that counts. If "googling" is enough for you to become as good as you want yourself to be then theres nothing to say. If you are not willing to do the necessary things to become good, you have to blame yourself, except if you dont have the means to do/get these necessary things.
