Conde Model Characteristics

Fist post on forum so hopefully I’m in the right spot. I have a musician acquaintance that is sellling an 02 Conde out of the Gravina shop and offering what seems to be a very good deal. He is telling me it’s a 1A Media Luna but aside from the obvious headstock how can someone determine that this guitar was a quality guitar coming out of the Gravina shop? Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Unfortunately the Luthier died in 1988, so we don't know for sure who built the guitar in 2002. Media Luna does not mean high quality, it just means they were sold at higher price than studio guitars. You should try it first to make sure it is what you want.

RE: Conde Model Characteristics (in reply to Ricardo

Thanks. I was really hoping there was a distinguishing factor just to determine whether not it’s an actual Conde and not an imposter. I was positive it was an imposter because I couldn’t find a single pic of another conde with the same rosette but FINALLY stumbled across one yesterday. Still undecided but since I’ll have the opportunity to play it I’ll base most of my decision around that
