Hi - New Member

Hi,

Hi, I have just joined and have played Flamenco guitar for some time now. I'm looking for good 1-1 in person lessons to improve. I live in the Midlands UK so it looks like London is the best place to find an experienced tutor...or maybe Oxford? Please let me know if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Hi

In London, there is Antonio Francisco https://www.estiloflamenco.com/
or Ramon Ruiz https://www.flamenco-london.com/

If Manchester is closer I think there is a flamenco scene there, maybe with some good teachers?

Have you considered online lessons? E.g. Ricardo a member here. Or if you speak Spanish then there are several top players that give online lessons e.g. Manuel Valencia, Miguel Salado https://www.miguelsalado.com

Thank you orsonw that's much appreciated!....I'll follow up on Ramon Ruiz for sure.

I used to get lessons with Antonio Francisco many years ago but he's not responding to my emails!? Must of been something I said

Online is certainly an option but I don't think you can beat 1-1 and being there.

If I were to go down the online route I was very interesting in Rafael Lloyd Iglesias.....looks like a very good player and a nice chap too...
