i think beginners like anobody else have a right to have their 'beginner opinions' plus if you think you know a lot you don't ask questions. I do the opposite.

Raf my comments were addressed to devil hand.
But I agree with you.beginners can def have their beginners opinion. It's when beginners have 'beginners facts' that things get messy. 😂 and when pros, advanced and very experienced players point out those facts are bogus, it should be on the beginner to listen and reflect and explore humility.

true
Right. Unfortunately, many or even most beginner questions begin with assumptions and the reaching out with these questions to a public forum with multiple opinions all carrying validity, they have the intention of hopeful reinforcement of the preconception. When they get either polar opposite responses, or something like “your assumptions are off base from reality and you need to reframe your question”, then the beginner mentality can be to move into defense mode, with either argument or excuses.
Once or twice this is no big deal and a discussion about it can be had. But when it is standard operation repeatedly and over a broad range of topics, it starts to look like “trolling”.

I have been sensing a bromance brewing between DH and Rafa. This disturbs me as an older person who’s had to learn about toxic aspects of relationships. But in the end we’ll be alright because we have endured - he who shall not be named- that tormented us for more than 5 years.
The current bromance of intransigent ‘know it allism’ and ‘blustery butt attitude boy’ is actually kind of funny. Whereas the days of -he who shall not be named- were sheer terror.
I have developed a coping strategy for dealing with annoying trolls. I imagine them wearing S/M ball gags and not being able to talk. It’s quite effective and funny. Allow to share an image that you can use to do a visualization that will help you deal with trolling.
For example I found this photo of a hamburger shaped ball style gag. I use this image to visualize Donald trump wearing a gag. I encourage everyone to seek out examples of gags and use them as visualization tools to help cope with trolls, moles, skimps, gimps, and any other time wasters and brain drains you run into.

Here’s to ya Ronzo. The day you posted a dog with a dildo in its mouth I spit out my coffee all over my computer. Thanks old friend, I post this cheeseburger gag as an homage to your dog with dildo post. You always knew how to clear the air, old chum. Miss you Ronzo.
