1999 Juan Huipe Negra for sale

Hola Everyone,

I'm selling my 1999 Juan Huipe negra - Spruce top/Palo Escrito back and sides. 660 mm scale/53mm at nut. It's in good overall condition with some dings and small crack on soundboard (right lower bout) which has been expertly repaired by a luthier in 2002. This has been my gig guitar for several years so it has been fully broken in and sounds muy flamenco and LOUD!.

Huipe guitars are known for their great flamenco sound and this definitely has the typical flamenco bark and bright trebles - which is hard to find on most negras. It also a great neck profile and one the most comfortable guitars I've owned. I have no use for it now since I have a new DeVoe negra.

Price is $950 - OBO - with b-band UST pickup and excellent Gilbert tuners that I recently bought and paid $180.

Price reduced $700 (in reply to DSOL)

I'm reducing the price of this guitar to $700. It's a great price for a handmade flamenco guitar with solid woods. Please let me know if anyone is interested.
