Happy new year! I met a guy a couple weeks ago, he owns a fabulous Burger joint in National Harbour DC here, and he told me his grandfather was Manolo Caracol. I was thinking…”wow, Caracol Burgers have the duende”! . I informed him, based on flamencological research, he was related to El Planeta.
"Anything you do can be fixed. What you cannot fix is the perfection of a blank page. What you cannot fix is that pristine, unsullied whiteness of a screen or a page with nothing on it—because there’s nothing there to fix."
Castillo at Queretaro, Mexico, December 31, 2010. About 10-12meters high. Fireworks not quite as violent as 30-40 years ago, but they did manage to set the huge Christmas tree afire with descending sparks in the adjacent plaza, so the bomberos got to put in an appearance.
