Went travelling this week 

A few people like this photo. It was a very long shot in so many ways. I was in Val d'Orcia between the rain and mist yesterday. Dante or Leonardo?

Dante! After a quick look I couldn’t find that particular castle in the region. Great picture, for sure!

It is Dante to me too. It was way off, about 12km away. I used a long lens. It is Castiglione d’Orcia.

Thanks for all your replies. This is a one-of-a-kind shot for me. Something I never even dreamed of. The moral is to go out in bad weather. It's a 230mm lens fully extended on a tripod in failing light.
