José María Manzanares was a great aficionado of flamenco and had many juergas with great artists such as Camaron, Fernanda etc. His son, of the same name, continues the family tradition.

Also, I want to recommend enthusiasts check out the book called Tauromaquia by Francisco Montes written in 1830s. He takes time to make interesting justifications for the art form, even back then.

I have often thought that a corrida with Paco Cepero and family, Rancapino, Jesús Castilla, Vicente Amigo etc en los tendidos would be more flamenco than someone closed up in his bedroom, practising Paco de Lucía falsetas
