Your observations are correct, and well, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings about this but I must admit it makes the guitar ridiculously easy to play for showing off, and this plus the music choices are in questionable taste, perhaps disrespecting the tradition of his uncle and others that dedicated their lives to this art.
