I am interested in buying the Felipe Conde FP-17-N (negra) guitar. Does anyone has experience with this guitar and can attest to its quality?
Also, this is the most advanced and pricy estudio guitar Felipe Conde offers. However, all other estudio guitars are described as 100% handmade in his website, but no information is provided about how this model is crafted. Does anyone know if this is also a 100 precent handmade guitar?
Finally, does anyone know if this model is crafted by a luthier in Felipe Conde's workshop at c/ Arrieta 4 it of it is made in another place? Estudio guitars are so confusing in this sense...
The top guitars are excellent that I have tried. My understanding was he and son only make two models, Top model and a lower end one, any others would be outsourced, but frankly I’m surprised if they have a full line like they used to. So if this is the only estudio they offer, then yes they make it and it’s probably good. Frankly, there would be better guitars for less because they have managed to keep their market quite high. I would go for a used top model myself.
For the record, felipe jr guitar was better and cheaper. He speaks English, so I would contact him if I were you.
Well they have 6 different Estudio models. Could be that the guitar is made by more than one hand, or from outsourced parts and then assembled by one person. In other words, one person makes bridges, another makes the neck etc.... and then one guy puts it all together. This would be better than an assembly line. But they offer French polish so that’s a good sign. I follow Felipe Conde crespo on social media and he is always posting pics of his model or the special edition guitars.
