Alma, the sensational new Flamenco company based in the UK, premieres its new production SOUL on Monday 3rd of November at the UCL Bloomsbury, London.

Founded by Felipe de Algeciras and Birmingham based Ana Garcia in 2001, Alma is a sensational new feature of the Midlands cultural landscape. The company has rapidly secured a reputation for presenting compelling and stylish shows which excel in conveying the elemental fire, artistry and thrill of flamenco.

The new production SOUL is performed by a company of 12 performers: 6 dancers, 2 guitarists, 3 singers and a flautist; it features the extraordinary talent of Felipe de Algeciras (principal dancer), Ramó Ruíz (guitar), La Leo (Singer) and Nico Bricht (Flute). The combination of these performers live on stage promises an unforgettable evening of pure electricity, a luscious visual spectacle and an exhilarating journey through the core emotions and movements of body and soul.

THE BIRMINGHAM POST

The premiere of SOUL launches Alma's second national tour. The production also marks the company's receipt of its first funding award from Arts Council England, West Midlands.
