Torres/Granada style manufacturers?
Hi Folks,
over the last weeks, I have been check out some guitars and found out that I have a fondness for the smaller, what seems to be called, Torres or Granada style body? I have played a loveley Rafael Romero and Yuong Go(?).
Besides going to the bespoke builders, are you aware of any brands producing these kind of guitars? Alhambra, Burguet etc. I could only find normal bodies?

there is a flamenco model from milestones of music (good quality chinese produced guitars), which uses a smaller esteso-plantilla and which you could take a look at: http://www.milestonesofmusic.com.cn/La-Flamenca?_l=en

A friend of mine just have one builded by a very talented luthier here in Hungary. According to a Torres plan, smaller body with a 650mm scale. It turned out very well!

The luthier is called Baranyai János, and I've tried 5-6 of his guitars, all balanced, big volume (even with the small torres body), fine work down to the details. And way cheaper than those at milestone... anyway, if interested, shoot me a mail to schafferlaszlo@gmail.com , and I will connect you two!
