Welcome to the Foro Santino. You will learn that practically every question and topic has been covered before. Learn to use the search function, and you will discover many items and threads of interest.
Regarding your question, "When did you fall in love with...flamenco?," that is a topic that has been covered several times. I suggest you look up the thread entitled, "What was your personal journey that brought you to Flamenco?" You will find many members' comments on how they were first introduced to flamenco.

For me it's two love stories and it keeps evolving. Here's the quick version. Played metal for years, saw a Rodrigo Y Gabriela video and thought it was flamenco, bought a nylon string guitar. After some youtubing, foroflamencoing and a teacher, I realized actual flamenco is way cooler, hated cante the first 1-2 years, went to Spain, cante then became tolerable and slightly enjoyable SOMETIMES. Then about a year or two after that, I can't pin point the moment, but all of a sudden I just "GOT IT". I became cante obsessed and now I get bored at solo guitar shows and only listen to cante albums. It just touches a part of my heart no other singing ever has and I can't explain how it happened.
