I want to build an Oud this summer

All these oud names and oud questions....it getting to me.

I want to make an oud this summer after I finish my current guitar projects.

My friends father is an Oud builder here from Iran for the next two/three months, happy to direct any questions his way. It's how he's made his living since my friend was a child, he does really beautiful work.That Oud on your website in the rosettes page is not you?
EDIT: Maybe not Oud?

Oud is a beautiful instrument... Let me know if I can help answering some questions from personal experience and I also have a friend who's a famous oud maker in Iraq who's always willing to share his knowledge... Good luck!
